Jessica and Luan said “I do” at their beautiful wedding celebration on 16th March.
We asked Jessica to tell us more about the planning that went into their big day.
Venue & Food
Jessica and Luan held an intimate ceremony in the garden and chose our breathtaking loft venue as the backdrop to their reception. A simple, hearty menu of Hudson’s favourites was served to their 100 guests.
“The venue is spectacular. Absolutely beautiful. And the food – delicious! ALL of our guests complimented the food.”
Flowers & Décor
The couple wanted a rustic theme incorporating proteas and a colour palette of rich burgundies and gold accents.
“The décor was exactly what we wanted and the flowers were more than we expected. Rhiannon and the décor team are amazing!”
“It was a special moment when we asked Ds Swarts of the Belville-Valley Dutch Reformed Church to be our marriage officer. He married Luan’s parents 25 years ago”.
Dress, Hair & Make-Up
“When I walked into Ever After Bridal, I immediately felt like a bride! We were welcomed with champagne and smiles. I had the best dress fitting experience! Deniel is a close friend who has been doing my hair for the past eight years. She also offers her services to the Bok Radio team when they have to attend functions. My make-up was done by Catherine – wow! What an amazing women! She is super cool and friendly”.
“Saskia is a friend of Luan and when we started planning our wedding in 2017, he said he wanted Saskia to be our photographer. We felt so comfortable with her and she took out of this world pictures. We will definitely recommend Saskia to everyone.”
“Hudson’s recommended DJ Dean and as we all know, Hudson’s only uses the best of the best. His prices are very reasonable and he knew just what songs to play to keep everyone on the dance floor”.
Bride’s Last Word
“To Rhiannon and the team, thank you, thank you and once again thank you!”
