Venue & Food
“Hudson’s just happened to be the very first wedding venue we looked at. We stopped at Hudson’s for lunch one day and the views of the gardens and dam were breath-taking. We knew there and then that this would be our wedding venue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s been months since our wedding and we are still talking about the caramel and banana cheesecake! Yum! The buffet, which included prime lamb, stuffed chicken, potato gratin and various salads, was incredibly delicious too. Flowers & Décor
“We didn’t use much décor because Hudson’s venue is simply stunning as is! Rolling lawns, fairy lights, sparkling chandeliers… they call their venue magical for a reason. We were blown away at our first visit even after seeing lots of photos online. The décor that we did use was supplied by Hudson’s. We had plenty of options to choose from. We went with clean and simple and used clear glass. For our flowers, we chose orchids. The Ceremony
“Duane has known Dino, our officiant, for a while. He is a great. The service was quick and to the point. The Dress
“The most difficult part about choosing a Robyn Roberts dress was that they were all so beautiful! Robyn is greatly talented, and her team is fantastic. My whole experience from the first fitting to receiving my wedding dress was nothing short of amazing. “Megan and Maggie gave us tons of stunning photos for our wedding album! We really love our photos and find ourselves scrolling through them weekly. The Cake
“Tamsin created the cutest wedding cake for us with customised pug toppers. Duane and I have two little pug fur-kids – they mean the world to us! We needed to include them in the wedding somehow so we thought, why not on the cake? The Favours
“We decided to go with customised printed stemless wine glasses as wedding favours. The party
“DJ Dean was recommended by Hudson’s. Duane was also in school with him so it was nice to see a familiar face.
