Photo booths arrived on the scene several years ago and took the wedding industry by storm. It’s a trend that’s here to stay.

There are a variety of options – from a couch with or without a backdrop and a few props, to a vintage step-inside box. You can have a live photographer or an automated machine. The best photo booths print two strips on the spot: one for your guests to take home as a keepsake and one to be pasted in an album for the bride and groom, plus digital copies available to all. Doubling up as both entertainment and a favour, a photo booth is always a big hit and most especially when it is open later during the evening once guests have had a chance to get into the party spirit!

We caught up with project manager at Pie in the Sky photo booths, Gigi Geldenhuys.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tell us a little more about your company and the service that you offer…

We offer a variety of photo booth services for weddings and other events.

How long have you been working in the industry?

Since 2008.

What price range is your service?

Our packages range from R1500 to R5000 depending on what you want to include.

How many weddings do you estimate you have been involved in?

Too many to count but definitely over 600!

What is one of the challenges you face in your industry?

A lot of people do what we do so it’s highly competitive.

What makes your service unique?

We make sure that we customise our booth and photos for each client.

Tell us about a wedding that you remember and why…

In January we provided a booth that did so well that the groom booked an extra three hours on the spot!

What piece of advice would you most like to offer brides and grooms reading this?

Make sure that you always tell the service provider exactly what you want and fill in booking forms comprehensively. Too much information is never a bad thing.

What is your service mission statement?

We value honesty, integrity and teamwork. We endeavor to provide services for our clients in a manner that demonstrates both understanding of their needs and creative flair.[/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1558613721909-ea007510-1186-10″ include=”37979,37980,37981″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Get in touch with Gigi
