You might remember this amazing couple from our interview with them shortly after they booked the venue.

Their big day was every bit as fabulous as expected with 150 fun-loving friends and family joining them to party the night away![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Venue & Food

The couple fell in love with the loft venue straight away. “It was the first and last venue we visited,” Janice told us, “it has stunning views”. Their ceremony was held in the garden first, alongside the dam with our trademark magical mountain backdrop.

The food, Janice says was “very, very good”. The couple opted to serve a selection of canapés, a wheelbarrow filled with beers and ciders and plenty of champagne in the garden after their vows. A hearty three course meal followed. The main course was a traditional buffet of roast beef and Portuguese chicken casserole with side dishes including roast potatoes and our famous pumpkin fritters. After dessert guests were treated to coffee and macaroons handmade by a friend of the couple.

Neil had one special request. He wanted to import several bottles of premium tequila for their wedding. These were placed on ice at an open tequila station with shot glasses for guests to help themselves throughout the evening. A sure way to get the party started![/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid element_width=”3″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1550749080322-dabe1866-5353-0″ include=”37653,37654,37655,37656″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Flowers & Décor

Janice had two looks in mind and in the end decided to have both. Half the tables were adorned with silver lanterns and lots of blooms in shades of lilac and purple and the other with delicate dendrobium orchids and tiny fairly lights in glass cylinders. “They had everything you can think of and more. The décor looked stunning and the lighting was beautiful” says Janice.

The seating chart was presented in a very unique way. Guests had to find their names tied to an antique key.

The couple decided to do their main table a little differently too, seating 20 people around one huge rectangular table. This ensured the main table was the center of attention and gave it a big family gathering feel with nobody left out.[/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1550749080329-456bfc37-73e4-3″ include=”37659,37660,37661,37662,37663,37664″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Bride’s Last Word

“We could have partied until 5am in the morning! It was such an awesome night.”[/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid element_width=”3″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1550749080336-858d8fb1-7c81-2″ include=”37667,37668,37669,37670″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
