Our story with Nicola and Warren began way back in October 2016 when they visited us for a tour of the venue.

It was a match made in heaven! They sent us a lovely thank you email afterwards setting the tone for a happy 17 months of planning. You’ll never meet a sweeter, better suited couple. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we saw it in the brochure. We knew that it was exactly what we wanted – an outside venue by the water. Barry took so much time showing us around and explaining every detail to us. The setting up on the day is all taken care of by the staff so there is nothing a bride has to worry about. I could just focus on getting ready. I walked into my reception with full confidence knowing it was exactly how I dreamed. Everything was so beautiful!

A previous Hudson’s bride that we met raved about the food to us and we too were incredibly happy – starters, mains and desserts were all delicious. We were blown away by how many items there were on offer at Hudson’s. The selection of vases, colours, flowers and décor are endless. I didn’t have to lift a finger. We met Zandri and Kevin at an expo and our personalities just clicked. You will instantly fall in love with this fun loving, positive, happy couple who make you laugh and smile from ear to ear. What more could you ask for on your wedding day! They are fantastic and give great advice on what to do and when. Zandri was amazing at answering all of my million and one questions. My designer Chris was absolutely fantastic. He knows your body type and designs beautiful dresses to emphasise your great features. He never forces his opinion on you but I would recommend taking his advice as he has so many years of experience and really knows what he is talking about. He also made all three of my bridesmaids’ dresses in record speed as they only flew down the weekend before the wedding. We wanted my fiancé’s Uncle to marry us on our actual wedding day but as he wasn’t an ordained minister we weren’t sure what to do. We were so pleased when our venue suggested Troy. He was so helpful and informative. Troy was able to do a mini ceremony for us the week prior in the comfort of our own home with close family. He said the kindest words and made it the most special day for us. DJ Dean came recommended by three different sources and we can see why! He did a fantastic job. Dean was brilliant at corresponding and would actually email me first. He suggested helping us with the ceremony too which was something that had completely slipped our minds. He asked us for a specific list and played every single song at the exact moment we had requested. We absolutely love chocolate cheesecake and Henno’s is most definitely is the best! He did such a wonderful cake tasting for us at his home and designed and made the cake just how we wanted. It had everything – wafers, shortbread, dark chocolate and chocolate chunks.
