We offer a beautiful, tranquil setting with magnificent views and exquisite decor, excellent food prepared by our experienced and dedicated chefs and professional, attentive service from our in-house coordinator and team. We host an average of 100+ wedding events per year so we really are the experts.
Our expansive gardens complete with a picturesque dam, glorious floral displays and stunning mountain views make the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, end-of-year functions, picnic lunches and other events, and offer abundant opportunities for photography. A marquee for outdoor events can be arranged at an additional cost.
Hudson’s Hall Venue
Inside, we have a large fully air conditioned function room which can be arranged to accommodate from 50 up to 120 guests. A unique fiber optic starlight ceiling, beautiful mirrors and stunning chandeliers featuring 60 kilos of Egyptian crystals create a magical atmosphere. This converted barn opens up on to a wonderful view of the gardens with the dam and majestic mountains in the distance. The function room is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday celebrations and corporate events. Smaller events of less than 50 guests can be accommodated in our restaurant or outdoor areas.
Our antique bar, adjacent to the function room, is hand-crafted from Burmese teak and served as the ticket counter at Cape Town railway station for 111 years. Fully stocked and staffed by our enthusiastic bar tenders, this attractive feature bar adds to any occasion.
Hudson’s Loft Venue
Upstairs at Hudson’s, our brand new loft venue is available as of December 2014. Ideally suited for between 120 and 250 guests, this beautiful venue offers double volume ceilings and unparalleled views across our immaculate garden to the Helderberg mountain range. Exquisitely furnished with our signature crystal chandeliers and chic African décor, the loft venue also boasts its own hand crafted natural wood bar, lounge areas and an outdoor deck to the front of the building.

Our in-house team is able to provide all of your flowers and décor. Our coordinators will work with you to create just the style and effect you desire, within your budget. This keeps your appointments and places to visit to a minimum during your busy planning period as your venue, catering and décor are all taken care of under one roof, by the same dedicated people, from set-up to breakdown. We will be on-site during the set-up and throughout your entire event to personally ensure the décor and flowers are perfect, and can accommodate any budget and any look.
